Extra Durable XD Reducers provide easy transition from one size of duct pipe or fitting to a smaller size. They also allow easy connection of Quick-Fit (QF) ductwork or connecting with flanged ductwork to machines requiring dust or fume removal and for highly abrasive applications that are high wear.

XD Reducers are manufactured as follows:

  • In Diameter sizes of 8 to 24 inches with a standard 14 gauge Galvanized Steel. Ends come Standard with QF Rolled Edge. Also available with Angle Flange Ends (ANGFL) retained with a 5/8 inch vanstone lip in diameter sizes of 8 to 48 inches

Specify diameter sizes for both ends.

  • Length in inches = A-B+6 for Reducers with QF or RAW ends with a 7 inch minimum.
  • Length in inches = A-B+8 for Reducers with (ANGFL) or (FFL) ends with a 9 inch minimum.

NOTES:
  1. At temperatures ranging between 390° F and 480° F, the zinc-iron alloy layers in the galvanized steel will continue to provide a high level of protection from corrosion. However, there may be some peeling, changes in mechanical properties, and reduction in the corrosion protection. Recommended maximum service temperature is 390° F.
