QF Sliding Access Panels (SAP) are used to allow access without removable of pipe, with the length equal to the nominal pipe length. They allow users easy, tool-free ducting access to clean out any clogs or gain access to spark detection/suppression equipment. The inside of the SAP is extremely smooth and tag-free.

They allow users easy, tool-free ducting access to clean out any clogs or gain access to spark detection/suppression equipment. The inside of the SAP is extremely smooth and tag-free.

QF Sliding Access Panels are manufactured as follows:

  • In 5 to 24 inch diameters with 20 and 22 gauge Galvanized or 304SS Stainless Steel
  • A sleeve with two clamps and two rubber o-rings slides to cover or allow access to a 11X14 inch opening laser-cut opening into a standard 59.25, 59.06, or 58.75 inch length of QF ducting
  • Slide length of access cover is 18 inches
  • Standard QF ends can be changed to Raw with a defined ID dimension (RawID), Raw with a defined OD dimension (RawOD), No Fitting or just a raw end (NoFit), Flexible hose adapter (RawFlex), Flat Flange (FFL), Angle Flange (ANGFL), or Van Stone (VanStone).

NOTES:
  1. At temperatures ranging between 390° F and 480° F, the zinc-iron alloy layers in the galvanized steel will continue to provide a high level of protection from corrosion. However, there may be some peeling, changes in mechanical properties, and reduction in the corrosion protection. Recommended maximum service temperature is 390° F.
  2. For 304 SS metal, bluing may occur at temperatures of 800° F and above.
  3. Rock River Silicone Sealant and Red Devil HVAC/R High Temperature Silicone Sealant are not able to be painted.
