QF Tubed Elbow

Tubed elbows are available in 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30° bends from 3 to 8 inches in diameter, and are available in galvanized or 304SS metal. These elbows are manufactured with standard bend radii of 1.5CLR (optional 2.5CLR) with up to 14 gauge metal thickness.

Tubed elbows, also known as bends or bend segments, are pressed-formed elbows, having formed halves stitch welded together. Tubed Elbows are air flow directional (collar on outside of tube for outlet and collar on inside of tube for inlet).

QF Elbows are manufactured as follows:

  • In 3 to 8 inch diameters, 14 to 16 gauge galvanized or 14 gauge 304 Stainless Steel
  • Can have 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30° bend angles, with a standard bend radius of 1.5 Center Line Radius (CLR), optional 2.5CLR
  • CLR (Center Line Radius) is a Standard 1.5-Inches with a option of 2.5 inches for both the Galvanized or 304SS Tubed Elbows
  • Also The Tangent is 2 inches for both Galvanized and 304SS Tubed Elbows
  • Standard QF ends can be changed to Raw with a defined ID dimension (RawID), Raw with a defined OD dimension (RawOD), No Fitting or just a raw end (NoFit), Flexible hose adapter (RawFlex), Flat Flange (FFL), Angle Flange (ANGFL), or Van Stone (VanStone).

NOTES:
  1. At temperatures ranging between 390° F and 480° F, the zinc-iron alloy layers in the galvanized steel will continue to provide a high level of protection from corrosion. However, there may be some peeling, changes in mechanical properties, and reduction in the corrosion protection. Recommended maximum service temperature is 390° F.
  2. For 304 SS metal, bluing may occur at temperatures of 800° F and above.
  3. Rock River Silicone Sealant and Red Devil HVAC/R High Temperature Silicone Sealant are not able to be painted.
