QF Heavy Wall Elbow

Heavy-Wall QF Elbows are manufactured in 16 gauge metal and constructed with segments lapped one over another and spot welded. This is a directional elbow and is supplied with an arrow to show direction of flow. These elbows are available in 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30° bend angles and are manufactured in galvanized steel and 304SS metals.

Heavy-wall QF Elbows, also known as bends or bend segments. This is a directional elbow and the elbow is supplied with an arrow to show direction of flow. (Specify direction of flow if requesting ends other than QF.)

Qf Heavy-wall Elbows are manufactured as follows:

  • In 7 to 24 inch diameters, 16 gauge galvanized or 304SS Stainless Steel
  • Elbows are gored (segmented) construction with gores lapped over one another and spot welded
  • Can have 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30° bend angles, with a standard bend radius of 1.5 Center Line Radius (CLR) ), and optional Radius of 2.5 (CLR)
  • CLR (Center Line Radius) is a Standard 1.5 Inches for both the Galvanized or 304SS Heavy Walled Elbows and an optional 2.5 inches
  • Also The Tangent is 2 inches for both Galvanized and 304SS Heavy Walled Elbows
  • Standard QF ends can be changed to Raw with a defined ID dimension (RawID), Raw with a defined OD dimension (RawOD), No Fitting or just a raw end (NoFit), Flexible hose adapter (RawFlex), Flat Flange (FFL), Angle Flange (ANGFL), or Van Stone (VanStone).

NOTES:
  1. At temperatures ranging between 390° F and 480° F, the zinc-iron alloy layers in the galvanized steel will continue to provide a high level of protection from corrosion. However, there may be some peeling, changes in mechanical properties, and reduction in the corrosion protection. Recommended maximum service temperature is 390° F.
  2. For 304 SS metal, bluing may occur at temperatures of 800° F and above.
  3. Rock River Silicone Sealant and Red Devil HVAC/R High Temperature Silicone Sealant are not able to be painted.
