No-Loss Stackhead

QF No- Loss Stackheads are used to eliminate back pressure on fans when exhausting from fans or stacks through the roofs, while also providing weather protection. Stackheads come with Flange for guy wire attachment. QF No-Loss Stackheads are manufactured in 3 to 24” in diameter with 20 and 22 ga., Galv. or 304SS.

Quick Fit No-Loss Stackheads are used to eliminate back pressure on fans when exhausting from fans or stacks through the roofs, while also providing weather protection. Stackheads come with a Flange for guy wire attachment.

QF No-Loss Stackheads are manufactured as follows:

  • In 3 to 24 inch diameters with standard 20 and 22 gauge Galvanized or 304SS Stainless Steel, and an optional 18 or 16 gauge Galvanize
  • The longitudinal seam is laser welded for the outer tube on 15 inch diameter pipe and smaller. On 16 inch and greater, seam is lock formed. 19 inches and greater, outer tube is two pipe sections with Angle Flange connections
  • For the inner tube the longitudinal seam is laser welded up to 24 inches, sizes 26 inches and up seam is lock formed

No-Loss Stackheads are available with larger gauged Galvanized Steel in the XD line.

  • Sizes more than 26-inches come with (ANGFL) Angle Flanged Ends.
  • Standard QF Rolled Edge ends can be changed to Raw with a defined ID dimension (RawID), Raw with a defined OD dimension (RawOD), No Fitting or just a raw end (NoFit), Flexible hose adapter (RawFlex), Flat Flange (FFL), Angle Flange (ANGFL), or Van Stone (VanStone).

NOTES:
  1. At temperatures ranging between 390° F and 480° F, the zinc-iron alloy layers in the galvanized steel will continue to provide a high level of protection from corrosion. However, there may be some peeling, changes in mechanical properties, and reduction in the corrosion protection. Recommended maximum service temperature is 390° F.
  2. For 304 SS metal, bluing may occur at temperatures of 800° F and above.
  3. Rock River Silicone Sealant and Red Devil HVAC/R High Temperature Silicone Sealant are not able to be painted.
